Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using FaceAura ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FaceAura is an iOS app that uses on-device computer vision to analyze facial features and provide aesthetic scoring, trend tracking, and (for premium subscribers) AI-generated analysis. The App requires iOS 17.0 or later.

3. Subscription and Billing

3a. Premium Subscription

FaceAura offers a monthly auto-renewable premium subscription that unlocks:

• Advanced Beauty Report
• 3D face scan (TrueDepth camera required)
• Detailed facial blueprint analysis
• Style and compatibility features

3b. Pricing and Renewal

• Subscription pricing is displayed at the time of purchase in the App
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Your subscription automatically renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of each billing period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

3c. No Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. Romeo Betances has no ability to issue refunds directly.

3d. Free Tier

Core scanning features are available for free. Certain features are locked behind the premium subscription and are clearly marked in the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code
• Use the App to harass, defame, or harm any person
• Circumvent in-app purchase mechanisms
• Use automated tools to interact with the App

5. Intellectual Property

FaceAura and all associated content, branding, and technology are the property of Romeo Betances. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

• Scores are derived from geometric analysis and should not be used to make medical, psychological, or surgical decisions
• Analysis results are generated by a third-party cloud service and may be inaccurate or subjective
• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any analysis result

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Romeo Betances shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of FaceAura, including but not limited to:

• Reliance on any score or AI-generated report
• Loss of data
• Interruption of service

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Third-Party Services

FaceAura integrates with the following third-party services. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to FaceAura at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date. Continued use of FaceAura after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
