Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → FaceAura and tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. FaceAura cannot cancel or issue refunds directly — all billing is managed by Apple.
Is my face data stored or uploaded?
No. All facial analysis is performed entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Camera frames and face geometry are never stored or transmitted. The only exception is the Advanced Beauty Report feature (premium), which sends an anonymized image to a third-party cloud service to generate your report. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
My premium features aren't unlocking after purchase.
Open FaceAura, go to Settings → Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, ensure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the purchase, then restart the app. Still not working? Email us at betances002@gmail.com.
How do I delete my scan history?
Go to Settings → History → Clear inside the app. This permanently removes all stored scans from your device. Uninstalling FaceAura also deletes all local data.
FaceAura isn't detecting my face. What should I do?
Make sure camera access is enabled: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → FaceAura. For best results, use FaceAura in good, even lighting facing a light source. Avoid strong backlighting.
Why does the app request HealthKit access?
FaceAura optionally reads your sleep data from Apple Health to show a sleep-to-glow correlation in your progress dashboard. This access is read-only — FaceAura never writes to or modifies your Health data. You can revoke this at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → FaceAura.
What iOS version is required?
FaceAura requires iOS 17.0 or later. The 3D Face Scan feature additionally requires a device with a TrueDepth camera (Face ID–enabled iPhone).
